Rachel Rose Simpson

Rachel Rose Simpson, 51, passed away on July 23, 2024, in Mississauga, Ontario, surrounded by love after bravely fighting a ruptured brain aneurysm for two weeks.

Born in London, Ontario, Rachel was known for her generous heart, sharp wit, and unmistakably dark sense of humor. She was kind, giving, and never without a sarcastic remark or a cigarette in hand. She loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren, sharing laughs, stories, and trips to the casino.

Rachel was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her unborn grandson, a meeting that, sadly, she didn’t get to have — but her love for him was already clear.

She is survived by her daughter, grandchildren, parents, sister, cousins, and close friends who will miss her fiercely and remember her often — especially whenever there’s laughter, mischief, or a moment that calls for a perfectly timed quip.

She’d hate to see us fuss, so instead we’ll remember her the way she’d want — laughing, telling stories, and maybe getting into just a little trouble. She wouldn’t want tears, but laughter, good company, and a few stories that probably shouldn’t be told in polite company.
