Prodyot Kumar Biswas

Prodyot Kumar Biswas, born on May 6th, 1950, has peacefully passed away in his sleep on September 1st, 2024, at Dorothy Ley Hospice. He was a devoted husband and father, remembered fondly by his family and friends.

For last 18 years of his professional life, Prodyot devoted himself to the Ministry of Transportation, where he contributed significantly to the community and the industry. His commitment to his work and the service he provided showcased his integrity and passion for public service.

Prodyot is survived by his beloved wife, Nirmala, and their son, Rakesh. His family remembers him not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the love and wisdom he brought into their lives. Prodyot will be profoundly missed, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and dedication.
