With deepest sorrow and great sadness the entire descendants of “Asenee Abusua” of Antoa, Ahenasi - Akaadi Larteh Akuapem, and Sekondi-Takoradi in Ghana regret to announce with heavy hearts the passing away of their beloved father, brother and friend.
Mr. Philip Obeng departed this world on October 7, 2023 at Mississauga Trillium Hospital in Ontario, Canada.
Philip was born on March 14, 1949 to Mr. Nathan Obeng and Madam Yaa Agyepomaa in Secondi-Takoradi in the western region of Ghana. After completing his secondary education at Fijai High School, he travelled to Canada where he completed his higher education in computer studies.
Philip was known by many to be kind and generous. Generosity was a cornerstone of Philip's character. His heart was an open door, welcoming others with a generosity of spirit that knew no boundaries. Philip shared not only material possessions but also the invaluable gifts of time, understanding, and unwavering support.
The memory of Philip Obeng will forever be etched in our hearts. May he find eternal peace, embraced by the same love and warmth he generously shared.
