Peter Laczko

It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Laczko announces his passing after an illness, on July 29th, 2023 at the age of 72.

Peter was born in Verdun, France on December 28, 1950. He lived most of his life in Montreal, Quebec, working for CN Rail, making music and loving his dogs. After retirement, Peter moved to south-eastern Ontario, settling in Cornwall. He is predeceased by his parents, Barbara Kiss and John Laczko, and by his sister, Catherine Laczko.

Peter passed away peacefully at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge in Cornwall, Ontario. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law, Stephen Abbott, his nephews Gregory Abbott (Rabbit) and Douglas Abbott (Clare) and his great-niece Katia Abbott.

The family would like to thank the staff of Glen Stor Dun Lodge and Cornwall hospital for their attentive care of Peter, particularly during the long pandemic months and his recent decline.
