Patricia Adele “Pat” Winger (née Adams)February 20, 1937 – November 25, 2025
Patricia Adele Winger, known lovingly as Pat, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on February 20, 1937, Pat grew up on Pelee Island and spent most of her life in Oro and New Lowell before settling in Wasaga Beach for her final years. She filled every community she lived in with warmth, humour, and her unforgettable presence.
Pat was cheeky in the very best way—always ready with a quick joke or a playful comment. Her love language was food, and anyone who walked through her door knew they would be lovingly “fattened up.” Her kitchen was always a place of comfort, laughter, and full plates.
She is predeceased by her parents, Maggie Bell and Cecil Adams, her brothers Don Adams and Jack Adams, and her sister Fran Fulmer. Pat is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Winger; her siblings Margaret Adams-Quick and Doug (Diane) Adams; and her children: Kyle (Natasha) Easton, Greg Winger, Carla Easton, Kevin (Sara) Easton, Tammy (Sean) Tomlinson, and Tracy Wilkinson. She was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 6 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply.
Pat lived a life rooted in care and creativity. Before becoming a dedicated stay-at-home mom to her busy household, she worked as a nurse, compassionately caring for children and seniors. Her nurturing spirit continued throughout her life. She was exceptionally talented with her hands—quilting, crocheting, knitting, and cross-stitching beautiful handmade pieces that her family will cherish forever.
She had a passion for gardening, especially her cherished yellow roses, and she enjoyed a good game of bid euchre. Pat was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved—cooking for them, laughing with them, and creating moments that will forever live on in the hearts of her family.
Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Patricia's life on June 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the New Lowell Legion, 5357 County Road 9, New Lowell, Ontario, L0M 1N0.
