Patricia Anne Morrison Paton

Patricia (Trish) Anne Morrison Paton, age 63, originally from Thunder Bay, ON, and of Ottawa, ON, passed away Friday morning, February 13, 2026, at the May Court hospice after a long battle with cancer. She had a successful career in providing administrative support, enjoyed classic rock music, reveled in many theme parks, and loved pets, especially our beloved Mojo.

Trish is survived by her spouse Paul Blanchett, mother Catherine Paton, brother Graham Paton, sister-in-law Patti Northcott, and nephew Austin Northcott. She was preceded in death by her father Mills Paton and her brother James (Jim) Paton. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

We are grateful for the wonderful care received from staff at the General Hospital Cancer Unit, doctors and nurses connected with the at-home community care system and the staff and volunteers at the May Court Hospice.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or the May Court Hospice. Details of a celebration of Trish’s life are pending at this time.
