Obituary for Guillaume Lapalme
The family announces with great sorrow the sudden passing of Osias Guillaume Lapalme ( “Guy”), who passed away peacefully, on Sunday morning, December 15, 2024 at Scarborough General Hospital surrounded by Zhihong ( Shirley) and Yumeng (Ivy), at the age of 74 years.
Loving son of the late Gracia and the late Achille Lapalme. Loving life partner of Zhihong Yang and dedicated step father to Yumeng Wang. Father of Julie Lapalme (Nick), Luc Lapalme (Shelley), Alain Ferguson (Erin) and LinePlante (Mathieu). Grandfather to Sebastian, Dominic, Chloé, Logan, Karine, Brandon, Kalèb and Cameron. Loving brother of Philippe Lapalme (Denise), Marguerite Lapalme (J.P .) and Lucie Cullen (Michael). Guillaume will be remembered for his love of food, his sense of humour, his kindness as well as his dedication to his work. The family would like to thank the staff at Scarborough General Hospital and Scarborough Grace Hospital for their ongoing care over the past year.
Final viewing before cremation has been arranged for relatives and friends at the St. John's Dixie Crematorium on December 30, 2024 from 3:30pm - 4:00pm in the Sandalwood Room. Located at 737 Dundas Street East in Mississauga, Ontario.
