Odette Julie Devonish (née Burgess) passed away suddenly at her Scarborough, Ontario home on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
She was born in Tunapuna, Trinidad on July 31, 1948, to Leo and Sylvia Burgess (both deceased).

Great-aunt to Luz, Sarai, Kaelen, Landon, and Lily.
Odette will be missed by her family and many dear friends, most of whom would remember her for her lovely style in dressing, her excellence in interior design, her joy of cooking, her excitement in participating in carnival activities and her enthusiasm in volunteering at her church.
A visitation will take place at 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Malvern Christian Assembly, 6705 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., immediately following the visitation.
