It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Norma Wilson aged 86 on Sunday September 20, 2026 at Joseph Brant Hospital.

Norma is predeceased by her loving husband Peter in 2024.

Cherished Mum to Karen (Merv) and Tracy (Dave).

Proud Nana to Samantha, Jennifer, Thomas and Haley. Predeceased by granddaughter Rachel (2021).

Norma was born in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England to Jenny and Norman Needham.

She immigrated to Canada living in Burlington since 1975 and enjoying winters in Florida, and has made many friends over the years.

An avid golfer (if only for the birdie juice). Also known for her beautiful hand knitted baby outfits that she has gifted to so many people.

She loved to entertain with dinner parties or just a good old knees up. Her Yorkshire Puddings, Sherry Trifle and Scones should have won awards. She lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by family and friends around the world.

The family would like to say a great big thank you to all the wonderful staff for their care and compassion during her stay in hospital.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
