Norma Charlotte Hayes

After an almost year long battle with cancer, on November 2, 2017, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Norma Hayes (nee Stockford) at age 86. Mother of Joanne Gurman (Robert), Dr. Michael Hayes (Lillian Bayne), Christopher (Lisa), Kathy DeWolfe (Stuart). Foster mother of John Fleury (Eleanor). Grandmother of Chad, Cory, Callie, Elliot, Oliver, Simon, Matthew, Olivia and Ethan. Great grandmother to ten . Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held at North Burlington Baptist Church, at 2 pm. on Saturday November 11,2017, 1377 Walkers Line Burlington. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life in honour of Norma, held on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Knights of Columbus Hall, 222 Queenston Rd. Hamilton. 1 to 4 pm. A special thankyou to the staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for caring for our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations to the hospice would be appreciated.
