It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Norma Matienzo Gelua, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 87.
Born on May 11, 1936 in the Philippines, she grew up in the town of Bulacan.
Norma Matienzo Gelua loved God, going to church, and reading her Bible. She lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. She had a passion for cooking and baking and her homemade dishes were always a highlight. She traveled to many countries, enjoyed walking and sightseeing.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Gelua, and sons William & John. She is survived by her children; Olive, Dinkee, Joseph & Marie and numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held at Westminster Cemetery on March 15, 2024.
