After a long valiant battle with metastatic colon cancer, with his devoted soul mate of the last 30 years April by his side every step of the way, we sadly announce the passing of Nick Ziegler.
Nick is survived by the love of his life, April Blackshaw and their daugher Zoey Blackshaw- Ziegler; his father Richard Ziegler, his sister Jennifer Ziegler, Brother Les (Hailey) Ziegler, father-in-law Gary Quinn sister in laws Courtney (Kyle), Katlyn (Roger). Nephew- Gavin, Nieces- Sara, Ax, Stella, Stacie, and Penny. He is also survived by loving extended families composed of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends far and wide.
Nick was predeceased by his mother Sylvia Ziegler (2019) his maternal and paternal grandparents, and mother-in-law Mary Jane Quinn (2012).
Nick was a remarkable man and devoted to his family, hard work and faith. He will be terribly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of life For Nick will be held on
Saturday April 22nd at Pickering Village United Church at 300 Church St., Ajax.
