It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Maureen Wallace, aged 73, on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026, at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario.

Nancy was deeply loved by her friends and family, and she gave that love back in equal measure. She is survived by her sisters Dawn and Kathy, her brother Ian, her daughters Jaime, Amy, and Lilin, and her cherished grandchildren, Avery and Veda. Nancy was predeceased by her mother, Nancy Jane Wallace, her father, Donald J. Wallace, and her brothers, Colin and Scott.

There are so many people who will miss her sense of humor, generosity, depth of empathy and kindness.

She loved music, singing, and dancing. She loved going out to eat, reading, and enjoying animals and plants on a beautiful summer's day.

Her sister Kathy shares this memory: "When I remember Nancy I realize that Nancy found joy in very small things in life. She found joy in breakfast at Little D's, visits in the garden, unexpected visits. What I miss most is our nightly 8 o'clock chats. As soon as Jeopardy was over I knew Nancy would call. We exchanged how our days went and inevitably Nancy got nostalgic and would share her memories of past times we'd shared together. I miss those calls." ❤️

We will all miss those calls, laughs and meals with Nancy.
