After a long and courageous battle with heart failure, our dear Mother, Muriel Gregory, passed away on May 5, 2026. Just short of her 93rd birthday. Muriel was predeceased by her husband, Leo and her four sisters and brother; beloved Mother of Carol Ann, Robert (Nicole), and Steven. She leaves heartbroken six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and step grand and great grand children, a dear brother-in-law, Wally (Rose), and her very best friend of 86 years, Betty. She also leaves many nieces nephews, and friends from Wellings and Kinmount Trail.

Muriel’s career and passion were her family. Being a wife and mother of the fifties, she selflessly and skillfully managed her house and raised her family. A long-time hospital volunteer, Muriel was a talented knitter leaving us all with many beautiful pieces which are treasured. She also learned to sew and created many stunning outfits for herself and daughter.

The family invites you to join them in a celebration of Muriel’s life at Holy Spirit Catholic Church:1489 Shea Rd, Ottawa, Ontario K2S 0G8, on Saturday May 30 at 11:00am; burial at St Patrick’s Fallowfield at a later time. A brief reception will take place immediately following the service in the Church Hall. The family would like to thank palliative Doctors Douglas and Brodeur, the support from Universal Care and the staff at Wellington West.
