Michelline Emella Marie Smith Bishop

Mississauga, Ontario, on June 5th, 2023 at the age of 80. Formerly of Chibougamau, Quebec passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving children.

Michelline was a devoted Jehovah witness, she was a very talented and kind person and had many passions. Owning a bakery shop, a seamstress shop, to assisting the girl guides, to traveling all over James Bay to give cooking classes and painting classes in her spare time. She loved designing weddings, from the dresses, to decorating the venues, to making splendid cakes and all floral designs.

She loved all her 5 Childern and all their friends as her own. She adored all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchild. We were all the apple of her eye.

Michelline was predeceased by her mother and father Rita and Arthur Smith.

She leaves behind her children Michael, Anna (Michael), Wanda, Malinda, Nyna (Gary). Along with 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A wake will be held at her home in Mississauga on June 17th at 2pm. Following by a private burial the following week where she will be laid to rest with her mother, grandparents, many aunts and uncles in Alban, Ontario
