In Loving Memory of Maxine Collins (MisMax)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maxine Collins also known as "Mis Max," who passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

Maxine is now reunited with the love of her life David, her parents John and Anita Acorn, as well as her brother, Robert Wayne Acorn, sister Julie Chambers.

Her memory will be carried on by her daughters , Tammy Mueller ( husband Ryan), Angela Woods ( husband Chris) ; and her surviving siblings, Debbie Lang (and husband Bill ), Holly Stronge (and husband Lou), Kenneth Acorn, Donna Ross, Perry Acorn (and wife Julie) and Leona Caulfield.

Maxine was the proud and loving grandmother to Arielle Hatcher and Emma Mueller.

She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will dearly miss their Aunt’s outgoing and fun spirit.

Maxine’s wish was never for people to mourn with sadness, but to be remembered for the best of times. She was a woman of the "good times," and in her honor, the family asks that you remember her by sharing a story, and raising a glass to a life well-lived.
