Mary Ann Skrypnychuk (nee:Sturgeon), born May 7/44 in Orillia, Ontario, passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria hospital on September 9/25 with her husband Bob at her side. She is predeceased by her parents Ivan and Ann Sturgeon, and her brother William.
Mary Ann graduated from Royal Victoria school of nursing in 1966. Throughout her career as a nurse, she worked at Royal Victoria Hospital, IOOF, nursing home, Victoria Order of nurses (VON), ended her career at Huronia Regional Center at the age of 67.
As per Mary Ann’s wishes, there will not be a funeral. There will be a graveside service at Barrie Union cemetery, date to be determined.
If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society in her memory would be appreciated.
