Mary Sheila Gale Pettifer, passed away peacefully at the age of 77, in Ottawa, on March 2, 2024.
Gale was born to Gordon and Mary Ferguson on October 2, 1946, in Ottawa.
Gale married Norman Pettifer, and they had two children, Beth (Joe), Bill (Marilyne). Dear grandmother to Dylan (Rosie), Noah, Abigail and Charlotte. She will be deeply missed.
Gale is survived by two siblings, Allen and Judy (best friend and sidekick). Predeceased by her siblings Bruce, John, Dale and Barb.
Gale loved to dress-up. She loved her outfits, makeup, perfumes, and jewelry. She also enjoyed nature and feeding animals in the yard, and loved flowers, especially daisies.
There will be a private ceremony held for close family and friends.
