Mary Kostantakos-Axiotis

“Mary was a beautiful woman. She was smart, her smile lit up any room and many loved and admired her. She made my life better and easier, and she was the most beautiful woman in the world to me. She was the love of my life; my friend and I will miss her dearly.” Her loving husband George.

There’s something about Mary…..…..smart, funny, high-energy, passionate and full of life. She was larger than life!…..impeccable style, hardheaded but soft hearted, fiercely loyal, strong-willed, dedicated to her convictions, incredibly bright and intelligent, artistic, a visionary, stoic and proud, and had the best natural BS radar! And she loved life, her family, friends, animals, Greece and our culture, and went everywhere with a smile.….a warrior for the underdog, highly principled spirited with a quick wit - and knew herself better than anybody. And based on this profile of such an incredibly strong willed, self-determined woman, and so she took on a very private battle with cancer. She fought courageously with faith, hope and a lot of determination. And it’s true when they say, you don’t know what you have until it’s gone…..We wish her peace, love and eternal happiness. May her memory live forever. She will be sorely missed.Survived by her mother, Georgena her beloved husband George, her brother Pericles and his wife Chrysoula, and many Aunts Uncles cousins nephews nieces and of course Anesti the pet rabbit and Teddy her rabbit nephew...and we hope she has been reunited with her beloved father, Sarantos.
