Marjorie Lillian Gilbert peacefully passed away at Harmony Hills Care Community, North York Ontario, on Saturday May 30, 2026, at the age of 97. Marjorie was the beloved daughter of the Late Frank and Lillian Gilbert (nee Norton). Dear sister of predeceased brothers Frank, George and Jack. Dear Aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was born March 14, 1929 in Toronto and lived her life in the Toronto area, including East York, North York and Scarborough.

Her professional life as a secretary, spanned an era from the manual typewriter and the first electronic typewriters, to computerized word processors. She was known for her generosity and professionalism.

She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends and her close friend Kate Philipps. Thank you for all those visits! Another thank you to her friend Barb, whom she knew for many years. A special thank you to everyone at Harmony Hills, who helped to take care of Marjorie.

Respecting Marjorie's wishes, cremation is taking place, and there will be no funeral service.
