Marion Elizabeth (Betty) Guzzo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marion Elizabeth (Betty) Guzzo who left this earth peacefully on November 20, 2025 in Almonte, Ontario at the age of 82.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Fairview Manor for their exceptional care, kindness, and unwavering support during Betty’s time there.

Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Guzzo, who passed away 18 years ago, as well as by her brother, Bob.
Betty will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Steven and Bill (Paula) her sisters Carolyn, Margaret, Jeanie (Don) Mills and her stepson Rob and stepdaughter Sharon, fiour nieces and nephews, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren and countless friends who were touched by her generosity, kindness and gentle nature.

Betty’s career as a nurse with the Victorian Order of Nurses was a true reflection of her caring heart. A devoted nurse by Profession. She took pride in her work and loved sharing stories from her time in the workforce.

Betty was a kind and gentle soul, and always brought warmth to those around her. In the 43 years that Steven and Billy knew her as they were adopted into her and Bob's life, she never once raised her voice, even though those boys at times gave her plenty of chances to. That just showed her sweet calm demeanour.

She cherished social gatherings and had many friends who brought joy and laughter into her life. An active spirit, she enjoyed curling, golf, and bridge, embracing both the challenge and camaraderie these pastimes offered.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.❤️
