Maria Pushavetz

We are very sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Pushavetz, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the age of 93. Mom was a loving wife to her husband Anton (deceased 2010) and a devoted mother to Eva, Marianne, Marko and Magda (Chris). Doting grandmother to Maria and Sarah. Dear sister of Vladimir, Martin, Matthew, Branko, Anton, Palmira (Palma) and Silvester. Predeceased by brothers Štefan, Theodor and Rudi, sisters Frances and baby Palmira, and her parents Teodor and Maria. She will be missed by all, including her many sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. We love you Mummy.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Jennett Memorial Centre, 152 Bradford Street, Barrie. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie.
