Margaret Anne McGhee

Margaret was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, January 26, 1948 and passed away November 12, 2025 in Ottawa, Ontario.  She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1950.  During her lifetime she lived and worked in England, London, Ontario and Ottawa where she spent the last 30 years.  She is survived by her brothers Alistair (Patricia) and David.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Joyce and her niece Bobbi.

Marg was very artistic.  She loved drawing, movies, music, eating out and driving.  She often drove long distances (on the back roads) to visit family and friends.  She enjoyed collecting memorabilia including movies, music, photos and books.  

In keeping with Marg's wishes, there will not be a memorial service.  There will be a family graveside gathering, at a later date, where her ashes will be interred with her mum and dad.
