Our morning started, like most other days, with a short trip to the hospital for some tests, then back to our comfy home. but....

My sweet loving wife of 40 very good happy years, unexpectedly passed away about 6:00PM April 16, 2024.

She was my best friend, a mentor and stabilizing influence in my life.

When I was upset, she was always able to calm me down.

Before she fell asleep, for her late afternoon nap, she was talking to me about getting back home to her comfy chair. A few short minutes later the Doctor informed me, her heart had stopped. I was dismayed and could not believe how she left so quickly and peacefully.

Every night before she fell asleep, I would always say to her,  sweet dreams and happy thoughts, I love you.

My hope and desire for her now, is that she is experiencing a beautiful, comfortable everlasting peace.
