Obituary

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Marcus Bradley Dunlop on May 27, 2026, at the age of 29.

Marc was the beloved son of Jennifer, a cherished brother to Michael, Hannah, Beccah, and Alysha, and most importantly, a devoted father to his precious daughter, Violet, who was the light of his life.

To know Marc was to know laughter. He possessed a gift that could brighten even the darkest day. His quick wit, infectious smile, and unforgettable sense of humor brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Whether he was telling a story, making a joke, or simply being himself, Marc had a way of making people feel seen and loved.

Beyond his humor, Marc had a heart that ran deep. He loved fiercely, protected those he cared about, and gave of himself without hesitation. He was a loyal friend, a loving son, and a caring brother. But of all the roles he held in life, being a father was the one he treasured most.

Marc adored his daughter Violet. His face would light up when he spoke of her, and every decision he made carried her in his heart. The bond they shared was beautiful and undeniable. His love for her was endless, and that love will remain a part of her forever.

Though his time with us was far too short, Marc filled his years with moments that will live on in the memories of those who loved him. His laughter will echo in family gatherings, his stories will be retold, and his spirit will remain woven into the lives he touched.

Marc leaves behind his mother, Jennifer; his daughter, Violet; his siblings, Michael, Hannah, Beccah, and Alysha; along with many family members, friends, and loved ones who will miss him beyond words.

The pain of losing Marc is immeasurable, but so too is the love he leaves behind. While our hearts are shattered by his absence, we are grateful for every laugh, every memory, every hug, and every moment we were blessed to share with him.

Forever loved.
Forever remembered.
Forever missed.

“Those we love don’t disappear from our lives. They live on in every story we tell, every memory we cherish, and every piece of our hearts they helped create.”
