Marcel passed away peacefully in Ottawa, on June 15, 2026, at the age of 86.
Loving husband of the late Colette. Devoted father to Francine Jakab (Joe), Jean-Pierre (Lyne Carr), and Michèle (Anthony Hodges).Dear grandfather of Steven and Adam Jakab. Dear great-grandfather of Jackson and Jamieson. Survived by siblings Roger Bélanger, Jeanne D'Arc Doucet and Denis Bélanger.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
