It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Madeline June Power, beloved wife, mother, nanny, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, who left us peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland, Madeline lived a life devoted to caring for others. She touched countless lives with her kindness, wisdom, generosity, and wicked sense of humor. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for family and friends will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Madeline was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas ("Nick") Power and Edna ("Jane") Power, as well as her beloved husband of 32 years, Uriah ("John") Heath. She was also predeceased by five siblings: Nick, Barb (Sterl), Bern, Gen, and Edgar.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Tammy, Paula (Cory), Edna, and Nicholas; her four treasured grandchildren, Ethan, Keagan, Aidan, and Kianna; and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her siblings, Gert (Dan), Monty (Doreen), Boyd (Audrey), Cavell (Kevin), and Paula (Dale), as well as her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Joann, Linda, Bill, and Yvonne, all of whom will miss her dearly.

As per Madeline’s wishes, there will be no service. We will however be having a celebration of life at her home on June 27th at 2 pm. Please reach out to Edna Power on Facebook if you need the address to attend.
