Norma (Mabel) Bacchus (nee Douglas), age 82, died at Westpark Long term Care Centre in Toronto, ON, on Friday, July 25, 2014.
Born September 27, 1932, in New Amsterdam Berbice, Guyana, to Pearl & Charles Douglas, she lived most of her life in Mackenzie, Linden, before migrating to Canada. Loving mother, sister and aunt to everyone in need of assistance and comfort. Always there for everyone and always with a smile
Survivors include Her husband Joseph, children - Edward, Stanton, Yvonne, Junior, Alfred, Gena & Omar; her sisters - Reata, Gleary & Gillian (Pinky) and brothers Maxie & Michael; 14 Grandchildren; and a loving companion Robert.
Funeral at St. John Norway Cemetery & Chapel (Kingston Rd & Woodbine) on Saturday, August 2 2014 @ 11:00 a.m.
