It is With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Lucica Lazar, at 10:57am on January 11, 2025 at Michael Garron Hospital. 

Loving mother to Carina and Lorena (Matthew) and grand-mother to Liam, Aaron, Emma, Jacob and Elizabeth. Cherished sister of Cristi (Mali). 

Lucica’s life was a testament to hard work, persistence and devotion to family. She will be missed by many.

Friends will be received at St. Leo’s Roman Catholic Church (277 Royal York Rd) from 10 am to 11 am on Monday January 20, 2025 for a viewing, followed by a mass from 11 am to 12 pm. 

Burial to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst Street) at 1 pm. 

Family and friends are invited to a reception location tbd following the burial.
