Linda’s commitment to care extended well beyond her nursing career. She ran a daycare for many years, creating a warm and nurturing environment for countless children. She also volunteered generously at a nursing home in Lancaster, Ontario, offering comfort and companionship to residents.

She found joy in camping and spending time outdoors, and she cared deeply for her grandchildren and everyone around her. Linda and her husband, Tom, were lifelong members of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, Ontario, where their faith and church community remained central parts of their lives. She was a dedicated member of St. Andrew’s Ladies Group and the Bible Study Group, offering her time, support, and friendship to all who gathered there.
Linda leaves behind her loving husband Thomas Watson McCune; her son Roger Thomas McCune (Lamoine McCune); and her daughter Trudy Edith McCune Chiasson (Yvon Chiasson).
