It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Linda Margaret Collins, age 78, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a warm and welcoming heart and was known for her ability to strike up a conversation with just about anyone. She cared deeply for the people around her and had a remarkable way of making others feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Above all, Linda loved her family more than anything. She treasured the time spent with them and took great joy in watching her family grow. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jodi (Tom) and Jeff (Mikala); her grandchildren, Riley (Chris), Korey (Morgan), Ty, Tori, and Tate; and her great-grandchildren, Miles and Finley.

Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Edward (Ted) Collins. She will also be deeply missed by her fur baby Sammy, extended family, many dear friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Linda valued the many friendships she made throughout her life. Her kindness, openness, love of conversation, and genuine concern for others left a lasting impression. She will be remembered not only for the love she gave her family, but for the warmth and joy she brought to the lives of so many.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, a private celebration of life with immediate family will take place at a later date.

Those wishing to honour Linda’s memory may offer condolences through the funeral home or make a donation in her name to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), a cause close to her heart.

Linda leaves behind a lifetime of love, cherished memories, and countless people who were better for having known her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
