It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Lillian. She had a courageous battle with Dementia and succumbed to the disease complicated by pneumonia at Scarborough General Hospital, in Toronto.
Lillian is predeceased by her parents, Altesina and Nazzareno Frontini and survived by her brother Edward Frontini (Guelph, Ontario). She is deeply missed by her best friend Corinne Bellon, her friend Courtney Chia, neighbours Selina Guarnieri (Bellon) and Vincent Bellon, and her long-time caregiver Mabelle (Midland Gardens).
Lillian is lovingly remembered for her beautiful heart, joyful laugh, thoughtfulness, kind gentle spirit and her love for life. Lillian loved Italian food, animals, and music (Opera, Big Bands and Jazz). She also had an affinity for old movies (Gone with the Wind, The Great Waltz, and the Wizard of Oz, to name a few) and often entered contents winning a few prizes.
Lillian had resided at Midland Gardens LTC since April of 2011 where she received great care and support. She was very loved and will be remembered as a sweet lady. Thank you for caring for Lillian.
Lillian was provided with great care by the dedicated nurses and physicians at Scarborough General Hospital. The care and compassion provided was appreciated.
Lillian was cremated and will be buried with her parents at Prospect Cemetery, in Toronto at a later date. A Celebration of Life will be held to honour Lillian surrounded by those who loved her.
“You are free now my friend, no more pain and no more sadness. Fly free and take your place with the angels. You were so loved and will be forever in our hearts.” - Corinne
