Kornelia Zsofia Klara Magyar

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Kornelia Magyar. She peacefully passed away in her sleep on Friday, August 30th, 2024, at the age of 77. Nelly, has now earned her angel wings and is reunited with our Father, her beloved Husband, Bela. She was a dear Mother and best friend to Christina and Cristian. She was a loving Mamama to Sebastian, Benjamin, and Adam. She is also survived by her siblings, nieces, and nephews in Hungary, and her friends who were always considered as family.

We are deeply grateful to all our friends and relatives who have supported us every step of the way. A special thank you to Almonte Country Haven for making my Mother’s last four months more peaceful and happier. 

Words cannot express our gratitude.

A memorial service will be held at:

• St. Elizabeth RC Parish, 
• 1303 Leaside Ave, Ottawa, 
• on Sunday, September 29th, at 12:00 p.m. 
• A reception will follow immediately after the service.
