In loving memory of Kevin Paul Montgomery January 15, 1990 – May 29, 2026

It is with broken hearts that we announce the tragic and unexpected passing of Kevin Montgomery on May 29, 2026, at the age of 36.

Kevin was a devoted father, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind his loving mother, Bonnie Hamilton; his brother, Bob Montgomery (Kayla); his sister, Jessica Montgomery (Mike); and his treasured nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Don Montgomery. And most importantly his 5 year old son Declan.

While Kevin was deeply loved by many, the most important role in his life was being a father to his son, Declan. Declan was Kevin's pride and joy, his best friend, and the center of his world. Their bond was unbreakable.

Kevin had a gift for making people laugh. He was often the life of the party and the funniest person in the room. His sense of humor was contagious, and he could brighten even the darkest day with a joke, a story, or one of his many antics. He never took life too seriously and had a way of bringing people together through laughter.

Some of Kevin's happiest moments were spent at the cottage, his favorite place in the world. He loved being on the water, boating, fishing, and creating memories with family and friends.

Kevin was also a passionate Montreal Canadians fan and rarely missed the chance to cheer on his team. He enjoyed life's simple pleasures, including his well-known love of Kraft Dinner—often eaten straight from the pot, just the way he liked it.

Kevin's sudden loss leaves an unimaginable void in the hearts of those who loved him. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely will remain forever.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
