It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Keon Ravn Jensen, who passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, at the age of 62, in Barrie, Ontario, surrounded by his loving family.

Keon was born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1963 to Grethe and Jens Jensen. From an early age, he embodied a strong work ethic and unwavering dedication—qualities that would define both his personal life and his career. He built a respected career in the commercial construction industry, specializing in curtain wall installation, where his craftsmanship, reliability, and pride in his work earned him the admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

In later years, Keon fulfilled his dream of living in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, where he found great peace and happiness. It was there that he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—time spent with family, quiet moments at home, and the satisfaction of a new project always underway.

Above all, Keon was a devoted family man. He shared 34 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Roxanne Jensen. Together, they built a close-knit and deeply connected family that meant everything to him. He was a proud and caring father to Bryce Jensen and Brooke Florian, and a supportive father-in-law to Robert Florian and Tayler Blake. His role as “Dad” was one he cherished deeply—he was always the first call when help was needed, never hesitating to lend a hand or offer guidance.

Keon was also a proud grandfather to his grandson, Ellis Jensen, who brought him immense joy and pride.

He found great happiness in spending time outdoors and with friends and family. Whether he was golfing, camping, enjoying weekends at the cottage, ATVing with friends, fishing, or simply tinkering around the house in search of his next project, Keon approached life with enthusiasm and a quiet sense of purpose.

Known for his steady presence, generous spirit, and dependable nature, Keon was truly the glue that held his family together. His kindness, strength, and unwavering support will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Keon is survived by his loving mother, Grethe Jensen; his devoted wife, Roxanne Jensen; his son, Bryce Jensen; his daughter, Brooke Florian; his brother, Bruce Jensen, his son-in-law, Robert Florian; his daughter-in-law, Tayler Blake; and his cherished grandson, Ellis Jensen.

He will be held in the hearts of his family and friends always.

Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating Keon’s life on June 20th, 2026, at the Couchiching Golf and Country Club, 370 Peter Street North, Orillia.

Guests are welcome to arrive at 12:45 p.m. The Celebration of Life service will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by speeches, with food and drinks to be served afterward.
