It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Ken Young, Husband, Father, Grandpa and GGPA, who passed on May 24, 2018 in Oakville Trafalgar Hospital.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Edna (Davis). He was also a major influence and firm supporter for his four children, Glenna (Ron), Wendy (Alex), Bradley (Becky) and Ian (Ailie), grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Liam, James, Jackson, Hudson, Katie, Brandon, Ava and Owen and 3 great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Connor and Malcolm.
Ken was a veteran in the Canadian Armed Forces and his biggest passion other than his family was golf. He will be fondly remembered by all friends and family.
There will be no service as per his request, but we will have a celebration of his life in June. Details to follow.
The family asks no flowers to be sent. Instead, donations can be made to your favorite charity, or the Ian Anderson House (ianandersonhouse.com, in-resident cancer hospice providing end-of-life palliative care to residents).
