Kenneth Edward Bailey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Edward Bailey on January 9, 2026, at the age of 90. 

Predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 wonderful years, Elsie Violet; he was the best father anyone could ask for to Linda and Ken Jr. (Andrea); predeceased by his brothers, Walter and Jack; a brother-in-law to Sid; an uncle to nieces and nephews near and far; and a cherished friend of many. 

Born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Ken also lived in Fort William, Thunder Bay and eventually made his home in Toronto. Ken was an avid skier in his younger days where he met some life-long friends who, together, built an A-Frame cottage in Huntsville, Ontario. His love for the outdoors was passed on to his family where camping trips in the summer were the norm. He even built a boat that he named Linken after his two kids. He then traded in the tent for a trailer where he and Elsie enjoyed 35+ summers at Birdsall Beach that included meeting the best group of life-long friends who were entertained by his stories around the campfire. But his greatest pride and joy was his family and not a day went by that they didn’t know it. He is now reunited with his dear Elsie, together forever..
