Katarzyna (Kathy) Slusarek passed away peacefully at her home, on 03 November 2026, at the age of 100.

Devoted wife to Bronislaw (Bruno) Slusarek (pre-deceased). Caring mother to Ted (Rozalia), Richard (pre-deceased) (Sheila), Teresa Brzozowski (Chester), John (Daniela), Zofia Kameka (Monair) and Jerry. Loving Babcia to many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her longtime caregiver, Annie Smith.

Immediate family will be received for a private visitation at the Basic Funerals and Cremation Choices – Jennett Memorial Centre, 152 Bradford Street, Barrie on Friday, 06 November 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Catholic funeral service to be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie, on Saturday, 07 November 2026 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment will follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, 208 Sunnidale Road, Barrie, at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends to donate to a charity of their choice.
