In Loving Memory of Karen Lynn White

It is with deep sadness the family of Karen White announce her passing on January 15, 2026 at the Credit Valley Hospital. Karen will be forever missed by her children, Walker and Taylor Moulton, her mother Sophie White and stepfather Tony Garcia and all her aunts, uncles, niece and nephews, in-laws, cousins and many friends. Karen is predeceased by her loving father Bill White and her beloved sister, Susan Portlock.

Karen’s greatest joy in life was spending time with family, especially her children. Karen will be lovingly remembered for the joy she had in taking long car rides with Taylor, watching Walker play hockey and enjoying days at the beach soaking up the sunshine and enjoying a cooler of snacks with her children. Karen will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her love of attending family events, especially pool parties and BBQs, always sporting a cool pair of sunglasses, forever seeking warmth from a favourite hoodie or fuzzy pajamas, and her outbursts of laughter at funny stories.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jori and the staff in the ICU at Credit Valley Hospital for the kindness and support they provided to Karen and her family during a very difficult time.

A celebration of Karen’s life will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Karen can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or a GoFundMe set up to help support her children.
