June Marie Charlwood

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of June Marie Charlwood, age 80, on Wednesday January 14th 2026 in Ottawa Ontario.

Born in Sudbury, Ontario, on May 2nd 1945, June Marie passed away peacefully in her sleep after a very short illness.

June Marie was the loving wife of Robert John Charlwood for 60 wonderful years, June Marie will always be his "angle".

June Marie was the loving mother to Cynthia (Alain) & Scott (Jenny).

June Marie was the proud grandmother, AKA "Nanny Eeyore", to Joshua (Maxine), Jacob (Daynah), Alexander, Mabel & Russ, and she was a very proud great grandmother to Malia & Harper.

June Marie will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her.

As per June Marie's request, there will be no funeral.

The family would like to send a huge heartfelt thank you to all the nurses, doctors and palliative care team at the Ottawa General for all their help & support during this difficult time.
