It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Judy on September 13, 2026, following a brief and unexpected illness. Her journey from diagnosis to passing was just one month.

Judy was a strong woman who lived life in her own way. She was a devoted mother and is survived by her only daughter, Terry (Luke).

Judy had a deep love for animals, particularly horses and dogs. She had a special gift for seeing the good in those others might overlook. She often opened her heart and home to animals that were troubled, sickly, or considered less desirable, offering them care, compassion, and a second chance. Her love for these animals was an important part of her life and the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be remembered by her family and friends for her strength, her individuality, and her generous heart toward animals.

A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at the Kars RA Centre. 1604 Old Wellington Street, Kars ON K0A2E0
