It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Barry Yutronkie at Saint-Vincent Hospital in Ottawa on September 16, 2026, at the age of 62. Joseph was the beloved son of the late Mary and John Yutronkie. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Candice Kelly (Nicholas), and his stepdaughters, Becky Eno and Jenny Eno. Joseph was a proud and loving grandfather to Kyran, Kariya, Jayah, Dexie, and Ellie-Anna. He was pre-deceased by his beloved partner, Laurie Eno. He is survived by his siblings Kevin (Edna), Murray (Marshell), Eldon (Drenda), James (Beverly), Marilyn (Rod St. Charles), and Loriann (Mark Hoare).

Joseph was known for his kind heart, strength and unending optimism. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in being surrounded by family and friends. He also had a remarkable ability to encourage, support, and celebrate the endeavors and successes of those around him. He leaves behind not only cherished memories, but also the lasting impact of a man who made those around him feel supported and loved.

The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at the Palliative Care Unit at Bruyère Saint-Vincent Hospital for their excellent care and compassion, as well as all those who prayed for Joseph and offered their support during this difficult time.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Casimir's Church in Round Lake Centre on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care Unit at Bruyère Saint-Vincent Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
