Remembering Joe…

On December 11th, 2023, Joseph Marcel Tesar passed away suddenly due to cancer. Although he left us far to early let’s take a moment to remember his life.

Joesph Marcel Tesar was born to Elizabeth Hartel and Rudolf Tesar on February 5th, 1957. Joe’s early life in Lachine, Quebec was a happy one, filled with school, sports, friends, and love. He graduated high school in 1973 and was married to his high school sweetheart Sylvia in 1976. In 1977 Joe became a father to his son Robert Joseph Tesar. Shortly thereafter he moved his young family to Ontario.

To find work, he went knocking on doors and soon began his career with the Bank of Montreal as a teller. Over the years Joe continued to work hard and climb the corporate ladder eventually becoming the Senior Manager of Credit Card Fraud.  His sharp business mind and his knack for leaning new skills down to the tiniest details helped him to establish his own business alongside his good friend Casey called IdAlerts.

Joe had many hobbies throughout his life such as home renovations, taking care of his car, football, travel, politics, investing and of course getting together with friends over a drink. Joe was always of the opinion that everyone had the right to live as they wanted and as long as their actions didn’t impact his life directly, then all was fair game. He was a proud man who truly believed that hard work was the key to a person’s success in life.

Joe was predeceased by his father Rudolf, his mother Elizabeth, and his wife Lisa. His memory will be honored and kept alive by his loving son Robert, his grandchildren Victoria and Eric, brother Rudolf, sister-in-law Lorraine, nephew Denis and ex-wives Sylvia and Belinda. 

‍                Joe will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.
