With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joseph Francis Abela on July 29th, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Phyllis Abela. Loving father of Diane Abela and Steve Abela (Renu). Beloved grandfather of Ryan, Eden and Krishen. He was a longtime member of the Melita Soccer Club in the Junction in Toronto and worked for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) for over 25 years.
A memorial service will be taking place on August 5th, 2022, from 1pm to 3pm at St. John's Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium 737 Dundas St E. 905 566 9403.
