John Richard Tunnoch (August 18, 1932 — August 9, 2026) was peacefully called home at Forest Hill long term care home in Ottawa. Absent from the body; present with the Lord.

Predeceased by siblings and his devoted wife Sylvia (nee Wilson). Loving father of Joy (Mike) Trepanier, Malcolm, and Colin (Crystal); loving Grandpa of Paul (Bridget), Anica, Trevor, Naomi, Nate, and Abi; Great Grandpa of Liam, and Samson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a long time favourite of John’s, Samaritan’s Purse.

A celebration of life will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on 2026-08-25 in the chapel at the Metropolitan Bible Church, 2176 Prince of Wales Drive. Followed by a small reception.
