John Samuels sadly left our world on July 12, 2026 at 9:08PM at the age of 79 years old.
He leaves behind his wife Jayne, his son Paul, his daughter-in-law Lisa and his two grandchildren Brittany and Christopher and his favourite four legged family friend Remington. He also leaves behind his friends in Canada and his loving family in England.
He was an amazing companion and best friend to Jayne for almost 60 years and he was fondly loved and respected by his entire close and extended family.
John always provided incredible insight and guidance to his son, his daughter-in-law and two grandchildren which will have a profound effect on all of them for years to come.
He was passionate about people, loved intellectual discussions and researched just about everything. He spent many years boating and travelling the world with his wife Jayne and always held his family as his number one priority.
He was well respected throughout his business career and into his senior years. As a business executive for most of his life, he excelled in all areas of his work and maintained and set a high standard of ethics at all times.
Once retired he continued with his fond love of fishing. He was an avid fisherman his entire life so after retirement he was able to spend much more time enjoying nature (everyday in the snow, rain or shine) at his favourite fishing spots. The many fish he caught over the years will truly miss him too….since he always put them back ….”to allow them to grow even bigger”, as he would say!
He will be dearly missed and never forgotten and he will remain in our hearts forever.
“Forever Together, John!”
We love you!
