John Edwin Powell

Mr. John E. Powell, of Queen St. Toronto, died of throat cancer on November 5th, 2018 at the age of fifty-nine. He is survived by his sister Patricia of Mississauga. Born in Goose Bay, Labrador, he was a resident of Toronto during his adult life, even though he also greatly enjoyed the outdoors. He specialized in the film and media industry, and was a member of the Society of Motion Pictures and Television Engineers. John was an aficionado of early classic film, and hockey. He was stoic and kept his quirky sense of humor throughout his life. At John's request, no services will be held after cremation.
