John Gerald Kerr

John Gerald Kerr passed away after a long illness at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa, on March 21, 2025 in his 84th year of life.

Jack had a career in banking and later as an Auditor and a Systems Analyst with Revenue Canada.

He was a beloved brother to his sister Maureen who had passed away some time ago. Jack will be remembered as a feisty but kindhearted guy who loved dogs and cats as well as playing the horses. He was an excellent pool player and in his youth played trumpet in a band. Jack had a great sense of humour and especially loved British comedies and stand-up. Jack enjoyed cooking and will be remembered for his fiery and tasty chilies as well a delicious Spaghetti alla Carbonara.

Jack will be greatly missed by his friends.

There will be no formal funeral service but there will be Celebration of Life later this year.
