John Reginald Guy Bunker

With profound grief and heavy hearts the Bunker family announces that John Reginald Guy Bunker age 86 has passed away after the long goodbye. Cherished husband of Margaret (Scollard) for 52 years. Proud dad of Sarah (Andre Fidaoui) and Mark (Jenna Craig) . Poppa of Nikki Cyr (Mike Siegrist), Joshua, Johnny (Makenzie Dupuis), Jeremy and GG to Isla and Alora Fidaoui. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Gladys Bunker and brother Peter Charles Bunker all from England. Also left to mourn are his two dear sisters-in-law Margaret Bunker (Ross-on-Wye) and Janice Scollard (Calgary, Alberta) and her children Patrick (Shelia), Lucas and Darcie Meyer (Mitch).

John will be missed by his golfing and bowling buddies. Born in London, England where he learned his trade as a bookbinder he came to Canada January 1962. He retired from the Library of Parliament in 2001 and rediscovered his love of golf.

A huge thank you to Dr. Edward Seale for his care, compassion and dedication in looking after John through this hideous disease. As well to the Nurses, our loyal PSW's, and the entire Bayshore Health team who provided excellent and compassionate care in John's final days at home. Also thank you does not cover the support and love we received from my "Posse".

Cremation has already taken place. Please gather with his family to reminisce and remember this fine British gentleman who became a proud Canadian and found his life here.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Orleans Legion Branch 632, 800 Taylor Creek Drive on July 10, 2025, from 1-4 pm.
