John Dulake Brereton passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026 at Trillium hospital in Mississauga. He was 66 years old. Born April 10, 1960 to Randy and Inez Brereton in Peterborough Ontario.

John is survived by his brother Tom and his special family at TRISL (shout out to Alfred, Dorothy, Richelle and all beautiful people).

Fondly remembered and loved. John had a heart of gold.

John survived a critical accident in 1977 and a severe brain injury changed his life path.

John lived the last 30 years under the tremendous care of MindForward/Phabis at a special loving home called TRISL in Mississauga.

John touched all the people in his life with empathy and true emotion.

Gone physically but certainly not forgotten. He lives in spirit! Loved by all.
